Zayd Ibn Al Haritha: Loved and Liberated

Zayd Ibn Haritha’s nickname was “the beloved of the beloved ﷺ”. The character of the Prophet ﷺ is exhibited in relationships he had with people before Islam was revealed, and his relationship with Zayd is one of them.

Zayd was the first freed slave to become a Muslim. His life and the choices he made exemplify what it means to love the Prophet ﷺ. Tune in to episode 12 of the Firsts with Sh. Omar Suleiman as he talks about Zayd Ibn Haritha.
