Many people, even among those who subscribe to a faith, perceive religion as an impediment to progress and intellectuality. In this short talk, Mohammad Elshinawy explains where that resentful sentiment stems from in our modern world, and how the history of Islam shatters this overgeneralization.

Mohammad Elshinawy is a Graduate of English Literature at Brooklyn College, NYC. He studied at College of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah and is a graduate and instructor of Islamic Studies at Mishkah University.
