One of the most common problems we hear about is when a brother or sister tells us that they sat down to read Qur'an or to listen to the Qur'an, but they struggle to find a connection. There's this desire to understand the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but sometimes people don't know where to begin. And oftentimes they're not sure what is the right mindset that's needed in order to explore and understand and connect to the ayat and the surah of the Qur'an. This is your brother Suleiman Hani, and on behalf of the Qur'anic Studies Department at Yaqeen Institute, I'm really excited to announce Qur'an Convos. It is a brand new podcast where we will be bringing in experts and guests and specialists of different areas so that they can speak clearly and concisely about the many different shades of meaning to be found in various aspects of Qur'anic studies. Insha'Allah ta'ala, when we start, you will notice in season one, we will cover tadabbur. So I invite you to join us. This is where we will be exploring how to reflect deeply on the Qur'an, how to connect internally as well on the Qur'an. This is based on the works of Imam al-Ghazali rahimahullah on the 10 inward acts of the heart with regards to the Qur'an's recitation. Of course, the episodes will be available on Yaqeen's podcast, and we invite you to join us on this journey together insha'Allah.
