Hanaa Hasan

Sr. Hanaa Hasan is a researcher in International Development with a regional specialization in the Middle East. She holds a BSc Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and an MSc Development Studies from the London School of Economics. She has also pursued islamic studies in both the UK and Turkey. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of the Qarawiyyin Project - an initiative dedicated to reviving Islamic discourse amongst Muslim women.
