Yusuf Lenfest

Yusuf Lenfest studied literature and philosophy as an undergrad before pursuing traditional studies with scholars in Damascus, Yemen, and the Hijaz. He has ijāzāt in the fields of fiqh, uṣūl al-fiqh, theology (kalām), tazkiyya, and hadith. He holds advanced degrees from the London School of Economics and Harvard University, and is currently completing a PhD in Islamic Studies at the University of Southern California.
