Vardha brings over 20 years of expertise in journalism, with a focus on U.S. foreign and domestic policies, as well as global politics. Hailing from Lahore, Pakistan, she was a founding producer at Express News, where she helped define the channel's editorial direction and establish it as a leading news platform. Vardha holds a Bachelor’s in Economics, a Master’s in Political Science, and an LLB with a focus on Sharia law, the American Constitution, and international organizations—highlighting her comprehensive understanding of law, politics, and society. In 2012, she was awarded the prestigious Hubert Humphrey Fellowship by the U.S. Department of State, a recognition of her leadership and dedication to the field. As a fellow at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, she refined her skills and broadened her professional impact. For nearly a decade, Vardha served as a producer at Voice of America in Washington, D.C., creating original, impactful stories across multiple platforms. Her work consistently drove global engagement, making her programs among the most widely viewed. In January 2025, Vardha joined Yaqeen Institute as an Executive Producer, leveraging her expertise in real-time production to further the organization’s mission. Her career is marked by a commitment to journalistic excellence and a passion for producing content that informs, engages, and inspires.
