As a Partner Development Lead (Educator and Community Partners), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a roster of organizations, educators, and community leaders who seek to bring Islamic studies education into their schools and communities. Your day to day consists of engaging with communities with the goal of understanding their needs and how Yaqeen can best address these needs through its unique curriculum resource and build capacity of educators.
Responsibilities
- Onboard and support Yaqeen Curriculum adoption for new or existing users
- Serve as the main point of contact for our North American audience
- Research opportunities for strategic collaborations as well as identify and maintain partners to use and market Yaqeen Curriculum
- Set up feedback calls and provide feedback from user’s perspective to improve product, serve as a key representative of the “user voice”
- Work closely with the curriculum team to provide feedback from partners to help build and improve the curriculum and business strategy
- Leverage knowledge of teaching and pedagogy to develop a customized approach for partners based on their specific needs and goals
- Plan and coordinate training initiatives
- Conduct needs assessment with schools
- Manage curriculum lab
- Identify and solicit new users within geographic regions
- Manage meetings throughout school cycle
- Identify opportunities to network with prospective partners including conferences, events, community hubs, etc
- Coordinate and support testing of curriculum units through design and development phases with users (interviews, focus groups) with schools, and provide feedback
- Ensure all information related to existing and prospective partners is accurately captured including but not limited to partnership stage, correspondence, and potential learner reach
Required skills
- Charismatic and extroverted personality
- B.A. or higher degree in education
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar position
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong team player who can work together with a wide range of individuals and stakeholders
- Experience conducting interviews and focus groups, and data analysis and reporting
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- Must have strong empathic understanding
- Perform additional job duties as needed
