As a Partner Development Lead (Educator and Community Partners), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a roster of organizations, educators, and community leaders who seek to bring islamic studies education into their schools and communities. Your day to day consists of engaging with communities with the goal of understanding their needs and how Yaqeen can best address these needs through its unique curriculum and build capacity of educators.


  • Serve as the main point of contact for our North American audience.
  • Research opportunities for strategic collaborations as well as identify and maintain partners to use and market curriculum
  • Steward existing partnerships and new partners through adoption of curriculum
  • Work closely with the Expanded learning team to provide feedback from the partners to help build and improve the curriculum and business strategy.
  • Respond to inquiries from existing and new users.
  • Manage curriculum lab: Identify and solicit new users within geographic regions
  • Manage curriculum lab: Manage meetings throughout school cycle.
  • Onboard and support curriculum adoption for new or existing users.
  • Conduct research into new potential partnerships and develop a plan to engage them.
  • Identify opportunities to network with prospective partners including conferences, events, community hubs, etc
  • Leverage knowledge of curriculum and teaching/pedagogy to develop a customized approach for partners based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Market curriculum to educational networks/groups during summer and winter marketing campaigns.
  • Set up feedback calls and provide feedback from user’s perspective to improve product, serve as a key representative of the “user voice”.
  • Conduct needs assessment with middle schools.
  • Coordinate and support testing of product through design and development phases with users (interviews, focus groups) with middle schools, and provide feedback.
  • Plan and coordinate training initiatives (webinar series).
  • Ensure all information related to existing and prospective partners is accurately captured including but not limited to partnership stage, correspondence, and potential learner reach.
  • Ensure details of partnership are outlined in an official MOU where necessary.

Required skills

  • Charismatic and extroverted personality.
  • B.A. or higher degree in education.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong team player who can work together with a wide range of individuals and stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting interviews and focus groups, and data analysis and reporting.
  • Multitasking and analytical skills.
  • Must have strong empathic understanding.
  • Perform additional job duties as needed.
