Young Muslims: A Brief Overview

YM, or Young Muslims, is a national organization that caters to Muslim youth residing in the United States. Established in 1993, the organization is associated with the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). Its primary objective is to enable young Muslims to become community leaders and foster positive societal transformation. YM offers a broad spectrum of programs and services aiding Muslim youth's personal, spiritual, and social development.

YM currently provides a range of programs and services to support Muslim youth, which offers opportunities to learn about Islam, foster strong relationships with other Muslims, and develop leadership skills. Among the programs and services provided are:

Youth Retreats: Organized by YM across the country, these annual retreats allow Muslim youth to convene, learn about Islam, and build meaningful connections with their peers.

Camps: YM also arranges summer camps for Muslim youth that provide a fun and immersive experience for participants to learn about Islam and develop leadership skills alongside fellow Muslim youth.
