Amir Abu-Ghudda has a BA in Political Science and Certificate in Economics from University of Regina and has received a JD from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. He also pursued Islamic studies in Turkey under scholars of hadith and fiqh. He has completed articles (legal training) at Blakes, Cassels, & Graydon and clerked at the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal. Currently, he practices as a commercial litigator in Saskatchewan. He has interests in Uṣūl al-Fiqh, Islamic judicial systems, and political thought.
