Youssef is a doctoral student in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California, where he is a Provost Fellow. His current research interests include democratization, with an eye to the Middle East, and political tolerance, with a focus on Muslim minorities in the West. Youssef earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Lehigh University where he went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Political Science as a President’s Scholar.
