History

This category covers the biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), detailing his life events, character, and prophetic mission. It explores the timeless lessons derived from his leadership and interactions, serving as a practical guide for spiritual and moral conduct.

Life of the Prophet (seerah)

This category explains the Islamic beliefs concerning the soul's journey after death, including the Day of Judgment, Paradise, and Hellfire. It explores theological descriptions of the unseen world and the importance of accountability in the life to come.

Afterlife

This section houses raw data and statistical collections used for research and analysis on Muslim demographics and trends. It serves as a resource for researchers seeking empirical evidence to support studies on contemporary Islamic issues.

Datasets

This section covers the core articles of faith (Īmān), namely faith in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and the divine decree (qadr). Other related topics, often found in classical theological works, are also found in this section.

Faith

The supreme deity in Islam, Allah is the One and Only God, creator and sustainer of the universe. He possesses all attributes of perfection, including mercy, justice, and omnipotence.

Allah

Spiritual beings created from light who carry out God's commandments without hesitation. They play various roles in the cosmos, including recording deeds and delivering revelations.

Angels

The holy book of Islam, believed to be the verbatim word of God as revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It serves as the ultimate source of guidance, law, and spiritual wisdom for Muslims.

Quran

The recorded sayings, actions, and approvals of Prophet Muhammad, which provide practical guidance and context to the Quran. They form a secondary source of Islamic law and offer insight into the Prophet's exemplary character.

Hadith

Messengers sent by God to guide humanity back to monotheism and righteous living. From Adam to Muhammad, these chosen individuals conveyed divine revelations and served as moral exemplars.

Prophets

Known as Qadar, this concept refers to God's eternal knowledge and control over all things, good and bad. It encompasses the belief that everything occurs according to His will and wisdom.

Divine Decree

Sharia, or Islamic law, is the divinely ordained path governing ritual devotion and aspects of daily life. This section covers research on Islamic jurisprudence, including worship, commerce, family law, and penal codes.

Sharia

The theoretical framework and principles used to derive rulings from the primary sources of Islam. It involves the study of legal theory, textual interpretation, and the rules of deduction.

Methodology (usul)

The human understanding and application of Divine Law to practical life situations. It deals with the detailed rules governing acts of worship, transactions, and social conduct.

Jurisprudence (fiqh)

Rituals and deeds performed to demonstrate submission and devotion to God, such as prayer and fasting. These acts purify the soul and strengthen the believer's connection with their Creator.

Acts of Worship

This section explores how Islamic maxims can address contemporary political questions and enrich our social landscapes. Content covers identity, ideologies, social justice, and more from an Islamic ethical perspective.

Politics & Practical Theology

The study of knowledge from an Islamic perspective, examining the sources, limits, and validity of what we know. It integrates revelation, reason, and empirical observation to form a coherent worldview.

Epistemology

The moral principles and values derived from the Quran and Sunnah that guide human behavior. It emphasizes virtues such as justice, compassion, and integrity in both personal and social contexts.

Islamic Ethics

The pursuit of fairness and equity within society based on Islamic principles of rights and responsibilities. It involves advocating for the oppressed and ensuring economic balance.

Social Justice

An exploration of what it means to be Muslim in the modern world, balancing religious commitment with cultural affiliations. It addresses the challenges of self-definition and belonging in diverse societies.

Identity

An analysis of modern philosophical and political movements through the lens of Islamic thought. This includes engaging with secularism and liberalism to understand their compatibility with Islamic values.

Contemporary Ideologies

The study and critique of anti-Muslim prejudice, discrimination, and irrational fear. It examines the root causes, manifestations, and impacts of hatred against Islam and Muslims.

Islamophobia

This section provides research on trauma and adversity from a psychospiritual perspective and theoretical and empirical research on the psychological processes involved in belief, doubt, and religious identity.

Psychology & Mental Health

A psychological and spiritual perspective on enduring emotional pain and suffering. This topic explores healing mechanisms found within Islamic traditions and modern psychology.

Trauma
