When visitors sign-up for e-mail communication such as newsletters and updates we collect the following fields: First Name, Last Name, E-Mail Address, and Country.

Other forms may request additional data that is specific to the content you are requesting such as school name, organization name, Islamic community or masjid, occupation, etc.

These fields are collected to enable, as consented to when the user signs-up, direct electronic communications related to specific updates from Yaqeen Institute itself.

Yaqeen Institute will never share this information with any non-compliant GDPR third-party and will only use the information to directly contact you.

If you download gated content from our website such as PDF attachments for Research Publications or Articles we collect the following fields: First Name, Last Name, E-Mail Address, and Country.

When you submit contact information to download or view gated content, we utilize temporary cookies to ensure we do not prompt you again since you have already signed up.

We do not manipulate the cookies to obtain any additional information. Once the cookie is created it is stored in your browser and we do not continue to track it.

If the user clears their cache, the cookie will be deleted and our website will prompt for the same information again.

Analytics

We utilize Google Analytics to track metrics on our website such as the amount of traffic it receives. However, none of this data allows us to identify you and neither is it our intention to identify you.

Donations

When you donate through our website we pass your information on to our GDPR-Compliant sub-processor Philantro. We store the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number, and Donation Amount(s).

Credit card information is not visible to us and we are unable to modify the submitted data. Only you are able to modify your data through the self-donor management portal.

Sign-Up Form

When users sign up on our mobile platforms we collect the following fields: First Name, Last Name, E-Mail Address, and Country.

These fields are collected to enable, as consented to when the user signs up, bookmarking capability of post content within the iOS & Android application and optionally direct electronic communication related to specific updates from Yaqeen Institute.
