Imam Yousef Wahb holds a Bachelor's of Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University in Egypt, from the Faculty of Languages and Translation. He holds multiple Ijazahs in Fiqh, Hadith, Arabic language, and Quran including the 10 modes of recitation (Qira’at). He has a University Teaching Certificate and is completing his Master’s in Law (LLM) at the University of Windsor, Canada, where he is exploring gaps between religious and secular legal systems of family law to increase access to justice for Muslims in Canada.
He has dedicated over 10 years as a religious educator, counselor, and visiting lecturer. Previously, he headed the Academic Committee of Shaykh Al-Amoud Foundation educating youth in Egypt on various Islamic disciplines. Since 2014, he has been serving the Canadian Muslim community through various mosques and institutions. He established the Al-Majlis educational program (Canada) where he teaches traditional Islamic knowledge. He is also an instructor at Miftah Institute (Michigan) and Canterbury College (Windsor). He serves as the Muslim Chaplain at the University of Windsor. He is a founding board member of Green Ummah, an environmental not for profit.
