It’s the moment to rise. Across the world, artists are painting Gaza’s story on walls that speak louder than headlines. This is how the biggest mural for Gaza was created. A powerful act of art resistance. ## Transcript **[0:30]** We painted this in one weekend. Oh it's beautiful, it's parlor. We painted this at 5 o'clock on a Friday and we finished at 2 o'clock on Sunday. Parlor. And by 3 o'clock we got the call straight out of Gaza, you know, saying that they can see it. They saw it in Gaza. **[0:46]** They saw it in Gaza. Murals for Gaza has covered about 250 murals alone. And with our sister organizations, we're painting everything around the clock. We stand with the people of Palestine **[1:02]** and we will paint the walls and the walls will speak. **[1:28]** We are here to show the world that we are one entity. **[1:44]** The hate came from the confrontations between the youth and the occupation soldiers. Most of the time they were shooting at the Gaza Strip. Most of the time it was coming to my shop. So I started thinking, what can I do to make them happy? What can I do to make them cry? **[2:00]** What can I do to make them happy? We are still in the north. We didn't go out or come down. We are steadfast. **[2:16]** We will remain steadfast. Whatever they do to us, we will remain steadfast like the Gaza Strip. We will remain steadfast like the Gaza Strip. We will remain steadfast like the Gaza Strip. It's gotten to the point where you have to force yourself to look at the pictures. I have to look today. I have to look every day. You cannot stop. You cannot stop. We are thousands of miles away from the people of Gaza and Palestine and we always think that, why should we stay so far and not be empowered that we want to do something, you know?
