**[0:00]** There's this emphasis throughout the Qur'an and the sunnah on Asabihuna al-awwalu, the first, the forerunners. Those that rush to do good. And we are to study them so that we can learn the lessons from them and that we can in some ways even be them. What we're going to be doing in this series inshallah ta'ala is looking at a series of firsts.

**[0:18]** And it's going to be a very long series. And we're not going to go in any particular chronological order, but looking, you know, at the first messenger of Allah and the implications of that. Khadijah radiallahu anha, the first believer in the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam and the implications of that. And some of those things.

**[0:33]** Now, we're not just going to study their biographies, but the implications of them being the first and what lesson we can learn from that. But then you also have the firsts of Islamic history that contributed amazing things, that established universities, that established projects that we benefit from until today.

**[0:49]** And then you have the firsts in the hadiths that the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam talks about the first to be raised on the Day of Judgment, the first to enter into Jannah with the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam. All of these different firsts that we can actually aspire to become ourselves. So please join me for this series inshallah, which will be going on for a very long time inshallah ta'ala where we talk about the firsts.

**[1:08]** And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to make us from as-sabiqun al-awwalun, to make us from those firsts on the Day of Judgment that rush to the fountain of the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam that are joined with him in Jannah al-Firdos.
