Who's holding you accountable this Ramadan? **[0:16]** Ramadan presents a huge opportunity to establish and maintain and strengthen the community, particularly with brothers. Brothers, it's important for us to get together in this beautiful month of Ramadan, to where we can worship Allah together and receive the reward **[0:32]** together. One of the things that we can do is practicing this iftar together, such as on weekends. Outside of having it with your family, you have it with the brothers. Or you invite each other over each other's houses and have iftar together, to where you give the person the **[0:47]** opportunity to receive the reward of allowing that person to break their fast on some food that you have presented. Coming together for the sake of Allah is beautiful and insha'Allah it will make us from among those that are under the shade of the throne of Allah on the day when there is no shade. Secondly, to hold each other accountable. As brothers, as men, it's important **[1:09]** that we hold each other accountable in order to be that bunyan al-marsus, that strong unified structure. And we only become strong when we help each other out for the sake of Allah. This will require to suppress and withhold and hopefully eradicate our ego. To eradicate some **[1:31]** soft narcissism that may be present within ourselves. It does not mean that we don't want to compete. Allah says, but that competition is for the sake of Allah. So when I hold you accountable, my dear brother, I want you to be better for Allah. I want you to be better to help **[1:48]** make me better. And that's the process. Ramadan presents that huge opportunity when we make iftar together, when we work out together, which leads me to the third point. You guys got to start getting in the gym. At least some kind of movement, whether it's after taraweeh or before fajr. **[2:04]** Have a competition. Compete against each other. Who can do 50 push-ups before suhoor? Who can do 50 push-ups after iftar or after taraweeh? Who can run a couple of miles with me? Brothers hold each other accountable. Hold each other accountable and don't get offended when someone calls you out. **[2:24]** We see this clearly with the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). When we hold each other accountable.
