Usman is a doctoral student in Practical Theology with an emphasis on religious education at the Claremont School of Theology. His research interests include religious motivation and internalization as socio-psychological processes using the theory of self-determination. Usman has a BA in Political Science and History from the University of California, Irvine and a MA in National Security Studies from California State University, San Bernardino.
