He subsequently graduated amongst the top of his class from the University at Buffalo Law School. He has taught courses at the Kuftaro Institution in Damascus, Syria and regularly lectures on issues related to Islam, Civil Rights, Islamophobia, and Spirituality. He is the founder of Madania Publications, the publishing house for the largest traditional Islamic seminary in North America.
