He completed his doctorate in Islamic sciences at the Université Privée Africaine Franco-Arabe (UPAFA) with a dissertation on the anomalous readings of the Prophet’s companions. He has written many treatises on matters related to Qur’anic recitations (qirā’āt) and the Qur’anic text, and has collaborated closely with Dr. Ghānim Qaddūrī al-Ḥamad, one of the foremost specialists in Qur’anic studies in the Muslim world. He obtained several certifications (ijāzāt) in the study of the Qur’an, qirā’āt, Hadith, and various Islamic fields.
